In reality, there are only two schools in Texas
UT and A&M. Everything else is second tier. Also, because of those two schools, they will already have access to all the media markets in Texas. Adding more Texas based schools will not increase tv revenue.
Future expansion will always be about tv markets. This is why Cincy is such a big target. Even though they aren't the big draw in their state, adding them give access to the well populated Ohio market.
