Perhaps I misunderstood him, but he seemed to be talking about making penalty

kicks more like hockey, where one player would get the ball and get to go 1-on-1 with the goalie. You're 1-on-1, with no threat of defenders coming from behind. I don't think I'm wrong that the scenario, with soccer goals as large as they are, would be near impossible for a goalie to stop.

Now, if it's middle of the game breakaway, that's a different story.
