I would say that if they were to expand to 12, that at least one of those
options would be either Cincinnati or Memphis. This is solely to appease WVU to make them not as much of an island geographically in the conference. However, this doesn't mean it's likely that BOTH will be added, just that ONE of the two would likely be taken. It could be Cincy and BYU, or Memphis and UCF, etc. But if I were to pick the 4 schools that seem to me to be the most likely to get a Big 12 invite, it would be:

Cincinnati
Memphis
UCF
BYU

I don't think Boise St., Colorado State, or Houston stand a good chance of getting an invite (don't add enough to the pot financially to ignore the geographical issues - whether too far away or already in an existing B12 market), and Cincy, Memphis, and UCF all seem like better options than ECU.
