I'm with TNT. I'm starting to get tired of Superhero movies.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not an anti-Superhero movie guy like some on this board. I do enjoy them and there have been a lot of good ones in the last 10 years or so. (There have also been a few duds.) I'm just getting tired of the genre. I want Hollywood to give it a rest for a while. Can we just agree to take a five year break from making superhero movies? Heck, I'd even be ok with two or three years without one.

At this point, it just seems like it's becoming too much of a good thing. There has been a glut of superhero movies lately, and it's just starting to get ridiculous. I think it started with the first X-men movie in 2000 and since then, it seems like there have been at least 2 or 3 every year. We've had Spiderman, X-men, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Catwoman, a Batman reboot, the Avengers, a Superman reboot, now another Batman reboot with Ben Affleck, a Spiderman reboot, a Fantastic Four reboot, etc. It's just insane.

I'm not even sure I want to see Antman. The whole concept sounds stupid to me. Maybe it will be really good, but I'm skeptical. I might wait till it's on Redbox. I like superhero movies. I really do. I'm just getting burned out.
