I noticed a frustrating difference between BYU and Boise State during bowl games
With Boise up 28-17 over Arizona they got the ball back on their own 22 yard line with 30 seconds left in the first half. Boise acted like they were down two points with 30 seconds left in the game and with a sense of urgency they drove down the field and made a FG as time expired to go up 31-17 at halftime.

With byu only up 28-24 over Memphis they got the ball back on their own 13 yard line with 2:04 left in the first half and a time out remaining. Byu acts like whatever and they try to run the clock out with 3 runs up the middle. They fail to even accomplish that and have to punt the ball back to Memphis with 44 seconds remaining in the half. All while we had been having a ton of success passing on them in the first half. Now we let them go make their halftime adjustments and kick the ball to them to start the second half. We voluntarily took a possession away from ourselves. Was kind of like a volunteered turnover.

Boise seems like they are always "playing to win" as they say.
Have great 4th of July! (Sorry to be whiny on the 4th.)

Yes this post is a 6 month delayed reaction:)
