Have two air conditioners and the older one just stopped working. Thermostat is

fine, but the fan outside is not on. I assume the motor is burned out? It is about 15 years old.

15 years old isn't to bad. they should go longer then that

They should but that is plenty old enough to fail

Mine just failed as well. We tried replacing the capacitor and the breaker
