29 consecutive years is cherry picking?
BYU has averaged 4.4 losses a year over the last 29 seasons. The number of losses didn't vary much between Edwards and Mendenhall. Everyone is reading this backwards. The point is what BYU has done for that period. The LaVell/Bronco splits was to show that the long term averages didn't vary appreciably when you look at the coaching splits during that span.
