We missed this KC tweet response to Nate Austin's 6/17 interview on BYUSN
Kyle Collinsworth's 6/17 reply tweet: "I needed to hear this!! Just wait... More in store!"
In other words, KC strongly disagrees with the conclusions in the clip.
Despite Jarom Jordan's pessimism that triple doubles won't happen next year, and his leading questions to Nate in order to draw out a supporting answer, for many reasons it could be that a healthy Kyle Collinsworth could average more rebounds and more assists than last year. How ever many triple doubles that will turn into, 9 RBs and 6 assists are more than plausible. While he'll lose defensive RBs off the missed FTs, those might be offset by his 100% good health for the full season and the increased BYU possessions due to the 30 second clock.
What we know is that we did not see Collinsworth at his best last season as his effectiveness was tethered by the ACL recovery process. That process now appears complete. It won't be until he comes charging onto the scene in November that most fans will see what KC at 100% looks like for the first time in charge on the floor.
