A lot of people in my neighborhood and city are buying into the pitch that they should spend 8K or more to get a $100 a month savings on their electric bill. I'm a skeptic. I just don't think the panels will maintain their efficiency for the 20 years needed to get a ROI on your investment. Any experts here who want to chime in?
