I've been hurt before, Big12. I was in a bad relationship a few years ago. My friends and I were seeing these guys from Philadelphia. At first we though they were nice College Sports TV boys, but they ended up turning into a real Comcast.

Sure, they promised us a network of our own. And they delivered.... sort of. We had the network, it was just that nobody could see it. And for a long time our Athletic Department was inundated with angry complaints about the TV situation. It was very traumatic, and once we broke up with Comcast and left our friends in a ditch, we promised we'd never go back to that kind of situation.

So when we started flirting, my initial hesitation was really just based out of being hurt before. You weren't the problem. Sure, you were hemorrhaging teams at the time, but it was never about you. There's a lot about you that I like, and I think we should start dating again. I'm in a better place, you've turned your life around, and if things go well, we can get married and I'll give you what you've been missing last year: a conference championship game and a complete family unit.

True, I will have to probably drag my crazy, potato chucking sister along with me. It's true that she was raised in a truck stop, but she's feisty and would make family reunions a lot of fun.

So think about it, Big12. Our differences aren't that big, and it's not like your old girlfriend Nebraska is getting divorced from the B1G anytime soon. We have a lot in common and you'll enjoy having us in the family, if we can only kiss and make up.

One other thing: I don't kiss on Sundays. But I will NCMO you like crazy any other day of the week... Unless it's General Conference weekend. But you wouldn't want to be around me then anyways, I'm all moody and my conference center is bloated. Trust me, aside from those few little things, we'll have a great time together.
