I hadn't realize that the guy who was shooting at who we believe to be West (I don't even know if it is him on the cell phone walking out of the car or not, but I assume that is him as that is the person being shot at-this person also appears to be a physical specimen which would fit the description) actually came from beyond the red car. This person was clearly waiting for West (if he is the guy who was being shot at) as he came from an undisclosed location and started shooting within seconds of West's car pulling up.

Since the shooter was waiting, we must also assume that he knew West was coming to that location. Otherwise why would you be ready with a loaded gun? It is possible that he always carries around a loaded gun, but based on his poor shooting form and the fact that they were allegedly playing basketball I would think otherwise.

West approached the group on his cell phone unaware of what was going to take place. He didn't seem worried at all. Was he looking for a fight? Perhaps. He had the door open before the car parked. If it was a fight then it appeared to be just him ready as no one from his car was anywhere close to where he was (it appears someone from the passenger side made it to the front of the car, but he was a long way in front of them).

The group filming the incident definitely knew something was up. When "West's Car" pulled up you heard a "oh shoot" (or something similar to that ) and then when the shots were fired you hear a "what up punk". It almost makes me think that West and his boys had carved them up and talked a lot of trash in the basketball game. Why else would the whole group have ill feelings towards West? (there are many reasons, I'm just trying to find a logical one where West had no idea it was to the point that they would shoot at him and the whole group wasn't surprised by it)

I wonder what became of the rest of the members of the car that West was in. West apparently ran and got help from a random house in the neighborhood. This would signify that he had no idea he was walking into a gun fight because as soon as he heard the shots he just ran and didn't look back.
