That said, if you have two coaches who are equally great teachers running the exact same scheme, the one who is the better recruiter (that is, consistently attracts players with more stars) is going to produce better results. So if you are looking at one coach in isolation, you can't really call on-field results "recruiting success," because it might be recruiting, but it also might be teaching, or luck (in terms of avoiding injuries).
