 [A] very real possibility that the show will be rebooted with Faustino’s new pitch, which is only held up by some pesky “legal” issues at the moment.

 

“Sony has it. They’re excited about it,” said Faustino, who had a mini-reunion with his former on-screen sister-slash-arch nemesis for the 11-season series. “They’re working out some legal issues that we hope they work out. The whole cast, including Christina, is down to do little bits in it, and we hope it comes together.”

“The idea would be a pilot for a spin-off,” he added. “It involves me and few other people, but like I said, there are legal issues to work out."

 

According to Applegate, Faustino’s got full familial support for the move.

“All of us have said we would [make an appearance],” she said. “We would all be there for him.”
