Give me reasons why this year will be any different? Honestly, I'm not trying to sound pessimistic here, I just want to know.

Pros: BYU has updated their strength and conditioning, which should make a difference. We still have Taysom, which is good, but the same concerns about his health through the entirety of the season remain. Bronco is taking over the defense again, right? So, the defense can't be any worse than it was last year.

Cons? Are we able to get pressure on the opposing teams' QB yet? This was a major flaw that has been hurting us bad, IMO. And it wasn't just because of good QB play by opposing teams, but that our secondary kept getting beat badly. Can we protect Taysom any better? I think Koroma is a stud, but is the Offensive Line as a whole any better than last year?

I think there is a legitimate possibility here to improve, but our guys are going to have to outdo themselves, because on paper I don't see any significant improvements that stand out. I recognize that our team could really use some optimism from the fans, but I imagine that many of you feel like I do in thinking that it is unacceptable to be embarrassed by Utah State.
