Although the symptoms were subtle, and random, I took the vehicle to Aamco to see what was up...OF COURSE, needed to rebuild the tranny. OUCH! Anyway, this newly rebuilt tranny comes with a 12 month/ 12,000 mile warranty. ...... Not having gone through this before, are those rebuilt tranny warranties conservative, and the new one SHOULD be fine for a long time, or once they are rebuilt, are they merely made to last a fraction of the time as the stock ones? I'm clueless on this topic, so TIA!
