Other than the time it took to update, there is no disruption for me. I was able to get right back on, my desktop looked the same and all my programs work like a charm.

It's nice to have an OS that gets out of my way and just does what it is supposed to do. I think that Windows 10 will be a winner for Microsoft, especially after what Windows 8 and 8.1 were.
