I hear you. I didn't renew my season tickets this year.
First time in 20 years I haven't had season tickets. It just isn't worth it anymore. I'll watch the games on TV, I'll still follow them, and I'll still even go to a couple home games.
But apathy is setting in big-time. Independence sucks for local fans. Not to mention, last year, they sold seats at such a drastic discount in a desperate attempt to fill the stadium that buying season tickets was a stupid financial move as well. I could have bought single-game tickets for every game and saved money.
I will say this--if BYU does join the Big 12, I will buy season tickets again. But I'm done with independence.
