I do not hunt but respect the hunting culture. Family tradition, eating what you kill, male bonding -- I am cool with that. Except big game hunters. Say what you will about how the money goes toward preserving endangered species, I have always believed big game hunting was messed up. There are hunting preserves in the US where for a small fortune, they will release a leopard or tiger and you can shoot it. Pretty disgusting IMO. I am an animal lover and would love to go to Africa some day to see lions in the wild.

OK, we've established that I think Cecil should be alive and the Minnesota dentist is a creepy loser. But death threats on twitter directed at this Palmer guy? People are that worked up about one case of poaching? How about the millions of exotic animals taken each year to make some magic potion? How outraged are people about Cecil and his fatherless cubs? Or is it more about this fat cat (pun intended) dentist that spends millions of dollars to fly around the world to shoot arrows into animals? This is about a callous rich guy, isn't it?
