Big game hunting DRIVES and pays for much preservation in Africa
and the local tribes eat the meat anyway.

The death of these lions is not usually a long and drawn out death. It is often quick. The truth is, in nature, death is often painful and violent, if not slow and painful. So, hunting of these animals is not particularly cruel. Most of the time, it is a quicker and less painful death than they would have otherwise endured.

Similarly, hunters in the US are some of the best conservationists out there.

I love animals, but I hate pests. So, I kill varmints with no remorse. I've raised and hunted animals for food. Although I respect their lives and do not take it lightly, I have no problem killing food to eat it. In fact, any meat eater should kill, skin, and cook their own food at least once in their life. I think they would have a new respect for animals.

People who refuse to kill their own food but would chomp on a cheeseburger are hypocrites. There are a lot of people who fit this description.

The funny thing about the death threats... They are coming from the same people who have no problem with what is happening with Planned Parenthood. These are the PETA type freaks who respect any life above that of Human life. That is why they are threatening to kill him, they think the lion has more rights than him.

If this had been any other lion (and there are plenty of others being killed the same way) nobody would bat an eye. I hate the PC world we live in.
