It is a procedural issue with the NFL. Why do teams get control of their own footballs anyway? Are the NFL refs really so stupid that they could not detect a difference in the footballs? Guys with criminal arrests, domestic violence, etc., get lesser fines than what Brady got. I don't pretend to know whether Brady did it or not, but why is the commissioner both judge/jury in the initial hearing and appeal? Makes no sense. It invites litigation.
He's set the bar now, so I expect all kinds of cheating allegations to follow. Without question, every team cheats somehow, some way during each NFL game.
