Just watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull again.
I hadn't seen it in 7 years, since around the time it first came out. Man, that is one mediocre movie and a disgrace to the Indiana Jones franchise. The movie makes Temple of Doom, the black sheep of the original trilogy, look like a masterpiece. Bad acting, bad dialogue, weak villains and a convoluted, ridiculous plot. Yes, there are some fun moments, but it is by far the weakest, worst film in the series.
Shia Labeouf almost single handedly ruins the movie for me. It's also painful watching Harrison Ford as an old man still trying to be an action hero.

I think Steven Spielberg and George Lucas should have left well enough alone and just let Last Crusade be the final movie in the series. This sequel was unnecessary and just a mistake. I cringe to think that they're already planning an Indy 5 which will also star Harrison Ford, who's now in his 70's.
