We typically go to Pope beach, emerald bay, horsetail falls (which is about a half hour out toward Sacramento). We eat at Tahoe pizza. That's about it.

Anyone familiar with the area have thoughts on outdoor activities or food? I'd love a good kid-friendly hike or a cool spot on the lake to visit that I've never been to.
