you could say that about pretty much anything that tastes good
overindulge and you don't want it for a few days or weeks, but eventually you will want it again.

I rarely drank soda until about 10 years ago. I changed jobs and the culture was to walk across the street late in the morning and have a soda (none of us were coffee drinkers -- I was the only LDS guy). Now it is ingrained in me unfortunately. Like Alister Mackenzie, a hamburger or pizza isn't appealing at all without a soda. I used to quit once a year for a few months just to tell myself I could. I don't do that anymore. My consumption has never really gone up from one can a day. Even though my weight is normal and I do four cardio workouts a week, I would like to quit. I just like it more than the thought of being free of it (which never resulted in my feeling so much better like everyone claims).
