I agree. Given 4 years, I think BYU would be at the same level as:

Utah, AZ, UW, and (some years) ASU. I think BYU would be competitive every 3-5 years with rebuilding cycles, but would rarely threaten the division unless they catch USC/ASU/UCLA on simultaneous down years or have a really favorable home/away schedule to counter tougher home/away schedule for other teams in the division.

Ultimately - About the same as Utah.
