Pack 12 Expansion
I had a discussion the other day with a friend who is in the inner circle at CSU. He said that Larry Scott has a plan for many scenarios that may play out in the landscape of college football. He told me that the PAC 12 have been in contact with BYU and CSU about a conditional invitation to the PAC 12. The conditions are CFB going to 4-16 team conferences, and Texas and Oklahoma accepting offers to other conferences.
Under this scenario each State in the PAC 16 would have two teams except California who would have 2 in the north and 2 in the south. Fresno/BSU and Kansas/Kansas St were the other two candidates mentioned to complete the 16 teams. The CSU guys feel pretty optimistic that this could happen
