We have a healthy Taysom Hill, and with him, I really believe we have a shot in every game we play this season. If he stays healthy, 10-2 is within the realm of possibility. As tough as our schedule is, if we win our bowl game and finish 11-2, a top 10 finish is within reach. And that is the best thing that could happen for all of the tender feelings I'm seeing expressed on cougarboard today.
If we lose Taysom or get hit by the injury bug it could be a tough season. But 2006 would have been less than it was if Beck went down. 2009 would have probably been a 4 loss season if Max was injured. I'm a fan. Until something bad happens, as it so often has for us lately, I'll hold out hope that this could be a special season. We have ridiculous talent at WR, a potential All American QB, and a very good running back. Our O line whould be better than it has been in a few years. That's not saying much, but it will still be an improvement.
The d might not be great, but no question it should be better than last year. I think we can all agree on that.
Go Cougars!
