when I told him that Salt Lake City had quite a few street gangs. He just thought I was giving him grief and there was no way someone from Memphis would know if Salt Lake had gangs or not. He was the most naive kid I ever knew. He lived in such a bubble that even when others told him about gangs in Salt Lake he couldn't be brought to believe it. Maybe he thought it was anti- or something. In his mind Salt Lake was home to the church and so it had to be the most righteous city on Earth.
