I respectfully disagree..

Members of the selection comitee themselves have said that a 13th game/ conference championship matters, along with SOS.

A #5TCU win over #4Baylor in a CCG would have been pretty hard to pass. Not only did OSU win an extra game, but they crushed a ranked opponent. And jumped 2 other teams who also had only 1 loss into the #4 spot.
