Yes it does. It makes it harder to void the GOR by defection. It means more
Teams have to leave the conference all at once to make the GOR null and void.
Also if you add the right teams and it strengthens your conference, teams will have more incentive to stay.
A CCG, more money, better access to CFB, more fans, more support.
It stabilizes the league in almost every way.
