Also in most option offenses the QB

Has the option to not give the RB the ball up the middle. This is done by faking the hadoff then pulling the ball out. He can perform the other options for that designed play such as a keeper, outside ptich or a pass. If we are getting stuffed up the middle some of that is on the QB for making the wrong read.
