For our patient the answer is no
When she did bring the dog with her to her treatments it wasn't because she felt she needed the dog but because she couldn't find someone to watch the dog for the 5 hours she wasn't at home. She normally didn't bring the dog. It was just once every 2-3 weeks that she'd bring it in and it inevitably led to chaos.
