TH reiterates to keep everything quiet and confidential, they've had conversations with the Big12...okay, 4 years later?...
To me it seems pretty obvious there was interest, but who turned off the other? Knowing BYU faculty/staff I'd easily say they did. But knowing B12 leadership it's also easy to assume they did. In short, these two entities repel each other.

Also, I forgot the Oregon St game wasn't going to be aired on TV. Holmoe shared that P12 network, Fox, and ESPN got behind BYU in getting this thing on TV.
