BYU is out and this is why.
BYU has been the most obvious choice throughout expansion.
Better athletics, more tradition, bigger fan base than any of the other schools who were choices(Utah, TCU, etc.) Best fit for the P12. Best fit for the B12.
If they were going to be in there would be no quiet, secret negotiations. They have all the qualifications. Should be a slam dunk. It would be done.
The fact that they were passed over the first round and are supposedly in top secret discussions now for the last two years tells me it's not happening. Ever.
