I disagree. They do not need 2 other members for the other sports.
And if the goal is to maximize revenue, while cutting down on travel costs, 2 football only invites makes fiscal sense. Football makes the most $$$, the other sports travel costs more, so it could work.
The Big XII does not need 12 for hoops or any other sport that has an NCAA tourney and selection process.
