Seahawks have potential to be very good for several more years
With the recent signings of Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner - this caps signing their cornerstone players for years to come.

The Seahawks recently had 8 players rated among the top 100 NFL players. Having 8 on one team was tops for all NFL Teams.

Here are the 8:
- No. 9 | RB Marshawn Lynch (Signed thru 2017. Top 1 or 2 running backs.)
- No. 11 | CB Richard Sherman (Signed thru 2018. Top 1 or 2 CBs)
- No. 21 | S Earl Thomas (Signed thru 2018. Top free safety in the NFL)
- No. 22 | QB Russell Wilson (signed thru 2019. The glue of the offense and one of the top clutch QBs in the league)
- No. 31 | TE Jimmy Graham (Signed thru 2017. Top 1 or 2 tightends)
- No. 41 | S Kam Chancellor (Signed thru 2017. Might be best Strong Safety in NFL)
- No. 69 | LB Bobby Wagner (Signed thru 2019. All-Pro. Top 1 or 2 inside linebackers)
- No. 90 | DE Michael Bennett (Signed thru 2017. Underrated but very important to Seahawks)

Add to this who are all signed thru 2017:
- LB KJ Wright
- DE Cliff Avril
- CB Cary Williams
- Plus a host of young, support players

If the Seahawks can remain relatively healthy, their young players progress like it looks they will, and they continue to draft better than most NFL teams - then the Seahawks have an opportunity to be NFL Elite and potentially Superbowl-worthy for 3+ years. They are on a great run right now. We'll see if they can maintain it. Jon Schneider and Pete Carroll are doing an amazing job.
