My mortgage company is awful but what can I do?
I re-financed my mortgage a couple of months back and my new mortgage company is completely incompetent. I don't know what I can do at this point though. Unless they sell my mortgage I am stuck with them for a long time. My new rate is 3.375% and I don't know the next time it will be lower than that and I can re-finance again (probably never)

What exactly has made me feel like they are incompetent?

1) When I signed the documents at the title company there was a page that asked if I would receive my statements electronically. I was going to say yes but there was no place to put my email address anywhere on the page or anywhere else in the documents. The title guy said he had no idea why that page was in there if they didnt ask for your email address.

2) I didn't receive any correspondence from them after closing and I was expecting something regarding statements, where to send payments, etc. When I called them I found out there were sending my correspondence to some random address in another city. I asked them where in the world they got that address as the property address and the mailing address were exactly the same on all the documents I signed. They had no idea

3) When I did receive correspondence I got duplicates of everything. I received my first statement in two different envelopes on the same day. The statements were exactly the same with no variation.

4) I set up recurring payments for the first of each month and I got a confirmation letter from them saying they would start on August 1st. They made a big deal out of saying though that if the first of the month fell on a non-business day then the payment would draft on the previous business day. So I was expecting my first draft to be last Friday July 31st. When it didnt draft then or today I called them. The guy that answered the phone in India (Sam) said that since the first was a non-business day the draft would occur tomorrow on the 4th. Huh?

5) There are 59 Glassdoor reviews by employees of the company and 55 of them are one star. They all say they were the worst company they had ever worked for. The reviews are all within the last 18 months. The four positive reviews are coming from somebody on the management staff according to the other 55.

Is there anything I can do? I dont want to be stuck with them for the duration of my mortgage. I feel like this is going to be a continuous disaster
