It's been well documented the reasons why BYU will never receive an invite to the Pac12, I don't think any of that changes until maybe the millennium. Focus our attention on the Pac 12? I don't think BYU is focused on any conference other than independence a conference has to want you first overlook objections of liberal schools, stances on controversial issues, Sunday play etc... BYU focusing on any P5 won't magically make it happen when we're not even wanted and conferences aren't even talking expansion. I would go so far as to say the Pac 12 would probably take any MWC team over BYU "if" they expanded.
