I sold some golf shoes on eBay for $150. I shipped them via USPS to Chicago and they for some reason went to Massachusetts and then to New Jersey. They were shipped on July 17th and have still not shown up.

Last tracking update shoes that they arrived in Illinois last Thursday but have not moved since.

The buyer is upset and wondering what is going on. I told him to wait until Wednesday to see if they finally show up and if not we will fix the situation.

What can I do in this case? I have sold lots of stuff on eBay but have never had this happen. I am not sure if my package had insurance or not but I would assume it does not. Any advice is appreciated. TIA
