The 2-year deal with Dish includes the Top 120+ package and even though he can get the Sports Pack included, he won't get CBS SN or FS1 as those are on the Top 200 package and aren't included in the Sports Pack. Upgrading to the Top 200 with that 2-year deal would be $65/month ($1,560 for 24 months). If he doesn't go the 2-year route, the Top 200 would be $40 per month (first 12 months only) plus he'd need to add the $13 Sports Package.

If he goes with DirecTV with the XTRA package it includes CBS SN and FS1 for $35 for 12 mo, then $78/mo after that. Then he needs to add the $14 sports pack for beIN. So you're looking at the following:

35+14 for 12 months = $588
78+14 for 12 months = $936
Total = $1,524

But he can just call DirecTV after the first 12 months to get the price down . . . they will be able to go lower than the $78 that people pay when they don't call.
