I have a friend who married the daughter of a key player on the 1984 team. Apparently that team is getting together before the Connecticut game for some sort of banquet.

Yes. Father in law is speaking at it. Thought of you..it's pretty low key but a cool experience. Cougar room pregame and get to chill on field before the game. Also tent dinner for football alumni."

Is this something I can't pass up? I live in Washington and its not as much of a hop skip and a jump for me... But I'm tempted. Anybody have any idea what this kind of thing is like?
