I am trying to sell my house in Arizona as I've accepted a new position and am moving back to Utah. Our home has been on the market for a little over a week through a realtor, has good photos, and I believe is priced competitively (we even dropped the price $5,000 earlier this week). Unfortunately we have only had one showing so far which is a huge contrast to the almost daily showings we had selling our home in Utah a few years ago. We are very anxious to move back to Utah and get started on this new chapter in our lives but need to get this home sold to free up equity for our new home.
I believe the home is in a good location (Queen Creek but near a lot of shopping and growth). It is a great home for a larger family with 5 true bedrooms with walk-in closets, separate office/den, newer construction (2007), new paint & carpet, etc. Compared to other homes, I believe it will show very well. The main draw back is the lot which is very small but we are close to several parks.
What ideas or suggestions have you seen work? We are going to have a landscaper come out and help with the trees but at this point I feel that we are stuck with prayers and fasting to send the right home buyers our way. What else can we do to help move the process along?
TIA
