My young daughter heard something from someone about the changes girls' bodies go through during adolescence, so she started asking her mom about what she heard. We've always been pretty open with our kids whenever they have questions about anything really, so my wife answered in an informative and age-appropriate way.
My wife then mentions that our daughter is lucky because no one explained things like this to her when she was young. And that she had to figure things out on her own.
Without missing a beat and as empathetic as she could say it, our daughter says, "yeah (nods head), you had to ask Cougarboard to learn stuff."
