Yep, you are confused. I am saying that the Chinese class specifically was
difficult for students coming from non-Chinese homes because those that are 2nd or 3rd generation Chinese went home and spoke it with natural speakers. I am also saying that it is reality that the current school we are in is much more academically competitive since it has 40% Asian population instead of the prior school that was 40% African American and 35% Hispanic.

I don't know what beef you are trying to conjure up and I don't really care if it comes across as not politically correct, but it is 100% factual.
