Can we please stop labeling anyone with a legitimate criticism as a hater?
I feel like the term "hater" gets thrown around way too much around here and used way too loosely. Most people on here are not haters; they're just frustrated fans, many of whom have very legitimate and perfectly valid criticisms of Bronco and Howell and the direction of the program in general. They're critical because they care so much. If anything, that should demonstrate that they're anything but haters. They're passionate and care deeply about and love BYU and want to see the program succeed and prosper.

There are very few people on this board who genuinely hate Bronco or Howell as people. They might have a beef with some of the decisions they've made or their overall job performance, but they do not hate them or BYU. Just because they don't worship Bronco or the ground he walks on and dare to question some of his decisions does not make them haters. Just like if I criticize the president of the Unites States, it doesn't mean I hate America. I just feel like the hater label does nothing to further civil discourse and is actually a form of name-calling.

I wish those who disagree with criticisms of the program would actually address the criticism itself instead of labeling the person with the criticism as a hater which essentially shuts down any kind of honest discussion and just fosters contention and divisiveness.

Just my 2 cents.
