Weeks than it is right after a tragedy because the attention goes away and you have to deal with things on your own, as opposed to right after when there's so much reaction and support.

I hope you know that I'm not the only one who continues to think of you and your family weeks later. In fact, I feel a little sad about football season starting because I know that will be painful for you. My hope is that your testimony is such that you realize that this temporary absence of Austen is indeed temporary. It sucks you won't have him around for the next 50 or so years of your life. But it's wonderful that you'll see him again after that forever! That's what keeps us all going brother. Wish I knew you and could tell you in person.
