...it's been a long time since BYU has developed much depth at the QB position. Thank heavens we've never had to go very deep into our backups. I couldn't imagine what last season would have been like for BYU if we had QB issues like Utah St did (burned through 4 QBs and had to use a WR at QB in the bowl game). Maybe it was a Brandon Doman issue but it seems like coaches have been pretty near-sighted regarding their QB's and can't see much past the starter when it comes to development.
