Accidentally forgetting that your child is in a grocery cart and leaving him/her there is EXACTLY like accidentally forgetting that you aren't supposed to go online and set up a date with an underage kid to have sex.

I can see how you would feel that way.

Do I think their lives should be destroyed? Probably not. But I do find there are some differences in the two situations, and I'm OK with the consequences for each being different too.
