Because he doesn't owe anybody anything as it relates to the discipline of players--not the fans, not the press, not the other team. As much as the press makes it feel like he has an obligation to inform them, he doesn't have to. He gives lots of interviews, shares lots of details about the progress of the team, about the injury status of players, but it is his prerogative to not share disciplinary actions for players. And I say good for him.
