She was like a gravitational force. Everyone knew she was the best player on the field and you just watched her, because you knew she would get the ball soon enough. I remember a game at SDSU where some of their players were trying to take her out or at least intimidate her and she just laughed. She ended up scoring the game winning goal.
Holmoe was my other favorite player. She lost a lot of speed from her freshman to her senior years, but she was still a force with her high soccer IQ, heart, and the unrelenting, aggressive pressure she put on the opponent's defense. BYU scored several goals because Holmoe forced a turnover in the attacking third when the defense was trying to clear the ball. Great passer too.
