I made the mistake the past two mornings of tuning in to local sports talk radio and I keep hearing how Utah took a huge step forward last season and that the next logical step is a NY6 Bowl maybe even this year.

Can someone tell me how getting 5th place in their division 3 straight years is a huge step forward? How replacing offensive and defensive coordinators is a huge step forward? I'm sure they will have a decent season even though I hope they lose every game by 50+ points, but I'm not quite understanding the logic.

Also, I hope Utah loses tomorrow but this is the exact kind of game they get up for and seem to win only to lose to a crappy team for no reason later in the year.
